Someone jumped in front of a train at one of the busiest stations in Chicago. Managed to be at a stop about 45 seconds further down the line. Take care of yourselves out there.

The stops are 45 seconds apart? Or am I reading that wrong?

In this specific case yes, but generally no.
The stop I was at exists mostly for the hospital its next to and its one stop south of a much larger station.

yeah as you get closer to downtown chicago the stops get closer and closer together. if i had to guess id say he was on the metra electric line going to the millenn ium park station. the last 3 or 4 stops on that line are about a minute apart not counting unloading/loading time

That’s sad news. The holidays can be a rough time - more so for some than others. Take care of yourselves and of those around you, Opponauts.
